afraid it's still fake , amulet consecration is a very long and tedious process ... normally the monks will choose an auspicious date or time for the ceremony ... sourcing for the material ( eg. gold , silver , nawat , alpaga , bronze etc. ) or herbs , leftover powder ( from previous chanting ceremonies ) or holy powder ... after which they will bless the materials for 3 or more days ... a mass chanting ceremony ( by arjahn or monks ) will be held for the production of these amulets ( sometimes there are up to 9 chanting ceremonies ) ... so what katha and which deva or buddha these monks / arjahn "invite" ( via chanting ) to bless these amulets , nobody knows except the monks / arjahn themselves after the chanting ceremony the monks / arjahn will destroy the mould in front of the general public ( to prevent future duplication and also to safeguard the temple's reputation ) but the lure of $$$ in the lucrative amulet business is always there ... and of course there are always unscruplous businessmans / traders / dishonest temple committee members awaiting to make a quick buck by mass producing fakes
a fake amulet is produced in a factory ( by anyone who can afford to duplicate a fake mould ) without any proper chanting or blessing procedures at all ... so , no matter who you ask to bless or re-bless the amulet , it will still be a fake ... in layman's term : an empty shell
eh , what power are you refering to ?
