80% of the population has Herpes type 1. If you sit in a room with 10 KTV girls, 8 of them are infected.
However, transmission is usually not likely in the absence of an outbreak.
In your case, one of the girls you frenched probably had a cold sore outbreak. You should have done a visual inspection first before inserting your tongue where many dicks and lips have been before.
