Young or old wife is not the main problem. As I have mentioned earlier,
Vietnamese are very practical people; survival instinct is very strong.
During the great escape from Vietnam after South Vietnam fell, the whole
family will pool all their resources, $$$$$ & gold bars, and select one candidate from the family to escape. If he is successful(he didn't drown), after a few years, he will send money back and will sponsor one by one over.
Remember the case about Angelina Jolie adopting a Vietnamese boy from
an orphanage. The boy's mother demanded $$$ from Angelina Jolie for "taking
his son away from her". Before the adoption, the mother was uncontactable.
Not all Vietnamese are like that; the majority are like that. There are good ones(minority).......it takes time and effort to look for them. Happy hunting!
