Before the buses move off, almost everyone will have a bottle of medicated oil on hand and start rubbing the oil on their nose, forhead etc. Buying a dozen to two dozen of these medicated oil from singapore is very normal. For handphones, the prices of handphones in VN used to be around 30% to 50% higher than singapore. But after WTO, the price is around the same. As for jewellery, gold and diamonds are hot favourite. But why buy for them now, only buy gold for them when really confirmed getting married.
