...in some 'traditional' societies like some parts of China or Vietnam, it is a common and acceptabe practice for the richer bf to give their gf some allowance...
it may seem not right in Singapore but this practice per se is not necessarily bad or unjust
just a cultural diff...to me.
..having said that.. never let the gal take u as 'carrot' lah...just buying gifts for girls...if over the 'line' it will make one feel like a 'carrot'...
for any relationship, go in with your eye open wide wide lah...esp sin-vn relationship...they are good...very good...be careful not to fall into the traps and be more mindful not to miss 'real' good girls lah...i have fren who now live happily after with their vn ba xa...some guys just have all the luck...me, still looking...
