You could get a piece of land in the country for cheaps, of course not in the cities. And really, if I wanted to live in a city, Sillypore's great. But the country in North Vietnam is by far different. Weather is great for a few months and it's the lure of country living...slower pace of life, landed property, etc.

And yes, you could get something for S$50K. I was offered a piece of land for $15K, and it's not too bad.

Any bros can comment about the visa. Can you get some form of long-term visa there, or better still, PR ??
