Where you going to stay?Berlian boat( wave Master) to Harbour Bay( Batu Ampar) is near many hotels. round trip is $48.
Penuin/ batam fast boat is to Batam Centre a bit cheaper, but if you stay in Nagoya Area, better take Wave master, and faster by 40 Minutes too.
Most Hotels are safe, just dont take drugs, and anyhow go about and you will be ok.
By the way, the gal ask you to go over, for sight seeing? and others
