anyway....since it has happen
ok...i will say it once and for all not for you only,
but for the numerous people who has
either PM me or asked me about it in the forum..
it is not about money..
i didnt pay him any or recieve any..
Sam is a good soul..
i believe it was a token of appreciation and recognisation
for someone who was/is/has
1) a pioneer in having constant contribution in the movie forum (before you were here)
2) use his knowledge wisely and contibute constructively to the numerous stickies in the bbs.
3) spent more time than anyone else here in the forum these past years, when most of the pioneer has either left or stop posting as much as they use to..
4) who probably get more PMs with regards to advice on divorce matters or health matters than anyone else in the forum with the expection of maybe sam himself...
5) who has taken initiative to help out in the bbs without sam asking.. ( e.g spenting many hours doing up the newbie helpline with pictures and getting new member here to join the new bbs(sammyboy.com) by sending pm and upping them
6) the list goes on...
and if you want to know how much to pay him to have a rep power fo 14... then may i suggest you pm him cos i dont have the answer...
i am not here for the points and power... if i was, i would have stop contributing when my 20 rep power was reduced years back when sam tweaked the system..i never once ask him to return the 20 rep power back to me(maybe once or twice jokingly) ..and i certainly wont be crying if my moderator status is remove one day. ( i am willing to pass the torch on if he tell me so, until then.....i will glading accept this new appointment)
So My Message is...
for everyone to start contributing constructively and your effort will be recognise one day.... Sam is not Blind and doesnt wear a rose-tinted specs, like some of you think he does...
