You are allow to buy dutyfree liqour to batam center or any other ferry terminal.Best to buy in sg then head over,batam center used to have one duty free shop but its no longer there.Harbour bay have one which u can buy upon arrival.
For coming back u are allow to buy one bottle of liquor,1 lt wine & 1 lt beer if only u stay more than 48hrs.

indonesia muslim are less strict than others such as malaysia.Btw u r not muslim!Some muslim in batam cheong till more hiong than us much more.drink till no tml,smoke like hell & gang bang like a rock star..
