The old Pearl's Bank School (near Chin Swee) is also a hostel. There are plenty of PRCs (students n non-students) staying there n they will always go to either d old People's Park hawker ctr to buy their lunch n dinner. Perhaps u can go there for lunch n look see look see to try your luck.
