Would like some advice from those who've been to Nha Trang as the furthest I've been is Mui Ne.

1. Is it better to take a train or bus to Nha Trang, what is the average travel time? Is there a 2 person private cabin for the train? One of the things to do before I die is to fxxk on a train.

2. Any recommended hotels in Nha Trang that has a beach view and across from the beach?

3. I've heard about the day tours, eg Mama Linh's 4 Island Tour, Tour to Monkey Island, Yang Bao Waterfalls. Which ones are worth it?

Thanks!
I also never take a train before, but I took a bus. I took a bus to Mui Ne (90,000) and then the 3rd day buy a ticket to Nha Trang (90,000). The cost of ticket is 180,000 for each person.

I heard that the flight betw Saigon and Nha Trang is 1.3mil if u book about 1 week earlier. Fly back from Nha Trang to HCMC at 1milvnd. The taxi cost to airport is priced at 190,000 and 230,000, depending on 4 or 6 seater taxi. Dun run on meter it will be around 500,000vnd

I buy the coach ticket at Sinh Tourist at De Tham Street too. Arrive at Nha Trang, and stay at the "hotel" nearest to Sinh Tourist outlet at 200,000 per day. Can see the beach but not so clear. The street closest to the beach is called TRAN PHU street. There are many "hotel" there, cost betw 200-300,000vnd/day. Further down the street, u can find LODGE hotel, NOVOTEL hotel, etc....

The weather is extremely hot, wash the clothes in the morning, and it will be dry by afternoon when u come back from outside.

IMHO, the 4-islands trip is the most worthy one I been to. Each person is 135,000 only. Meet around 8.30am and reach hotel at 4pm. The details of the island tour and more will be in my next posting....

Hope i m not the one that u are talking about. I always like to do my own recee and dun like to take the agency package
