Continuing.....


We were backed to the living room joining Isabelle and my puppy, while my maid was struggling to re-arrange my room.

My parents backed......

June was extremely nervous from the way she looked and behaviour. I realised she grab Isabelle's hand with some might and was standing, waiting to welcome my parents and as though they are some VVIPs.


My parents stepped inside the living room.


June: "....Aunty......Uncle...."
Mum: "Hey....hi......welcome....you must be urr....urrr....June right? My son told us that you are here. Come....feel easy ok....Don't be pasieh(Shy)."
Pa: "Hi.....welcome....yah.....just make yourself at home. Easy girl...."


June: "urrrr.....sorry to impose on you guys. Isabelle...what must you say?"
Isabelle: "oh......Aunty....uncle...."

June: "Oh.....this....this...."
Mum: "Oh...she is so beautiful..... Like mummy like daughter. So pretty. Hi little girl, what's your name?"
Isabelle: "My name is Isabelle... Aunty I like the dog."

Mum: "Hahaha....good girl....you want some sweet?"
Isabelle: "No....mummy say I cannot eat sweet and I cannot take from strangers."
Mum: "So adorable.....and a sweet girl just like the mummy....And very obedient you are."

June: "She...she is quite naughty at times."
Mum: "It's ok....kids are playful and mischevious at times. As long as they are brought up in a proper way. Hey.....don't just stand there, take a sit."
Pa: "Yah.....you have been standing before we are in. Come take a sit."

June: "Aunty...let me carry this for you."
Mum: "No No.... I can get the maid to carry. You are my guest."
Me: "Hi....you relax....let the maid to carry."

June: "But.....urrrr...."
Mum: "Don't feel uneasy. By the way, what do you like to eat or what's your favorite dish? Let me cook for you."

June: "Don't want lah aunty. How can I ask you to cook for me?"
Mum: "Huh huh....see...who is standing on ceremony? It just an additional pair of chopsticks and a bowl. Meal time should be the more the merrier right?"

June: "But.....but..."
Me: "hey ma....what about cooking my favorite prawn paste pork ribs?"
Mum: "No ribs lah. You go and buy loh then I will cook."

Me: "Wah...you bias leh! Unfair...you rather cook for her than me?"
Mum: "Excuse me....are you a lady?"

Me: "Woah......sided with her liao."
June: "Urrrr.....don't like that lah....I paiseh....."
Mum: "Don't bother about him! Tell me if he ever bully you."

June: "Nope....aunty."
Mum: "Ok...feel easy...let me go to the kitchen and prepare tonight's dinner."

June: "Ohhh...aunty..let me help you."
Mum: "Don't need. I can handle."
Me: "My mum can easily cook 10 dishes in a short time for many people. Don't ever play play with her."

June: "Urrrr.....then I must learn from you aunty."
Mum: "Hmmm...if you are interested, you are most welcome to my kitchen. I can share some culinary skill to you."

June: "Thank you aunty."


Soon June and my mum were inside the kitchen. While me, Isabelle were with the dog. My father as usual would just watch his favorite National Geographic Channel and Discovery channel.
