On a serious note always carry your passport with you when in Thailand. The Thai police is always looking for a chance to milk some coffee money from foreigners. Also some night spots want to see your passport in order to gain entry unless you've a Thai friend who is a regular to bring you in.
In Thailand those elite Thais or criminals carry guns around so watch out for these people and siam them far far unelss these people are your good friends. Those connected to the Army and Royal Family can be damn yaya cuz very powderful.
