Can enter....But.....
U will be escorted to a private room and be offered a seat.
After the queues finish, an officer or 2 will join u for a chat.
The will toss out the immigration rules and what nots.
Then u will be asked to return home on the next ferry home.
But of course they dun want that if possible cuz they are promoting Visit Batam 2010.
Then they will start whistling and looking around in the room looking thirsty.
U better get the hint and offer to treat them kopi.
Opening might be around $100 to "help" u solve the problem.
Bargain to $50 if is the lowest they will go.
Slot $50 into passport and wait 10 mins before u are given back the passport with the relevent stamp endorsed.
