But on this taxi bit for arrivals, you probably got it other way around (or just reverse typo?) with
departure halls which may confuse new kids on the block.
Arrival hall > 1 floor down for
public taxi (follow sign). Avoid the well dressed limo guys/ladies (circa 600/700) asking you "taxi?" in arrival hall. Queques depending if peak arrival times. Surcharge is +thb50 on top of meterered fare + toll. Trip to lower suk will cost you within thb300.
If the queques are snakingly long, I go up to departure level, and jump in newly vacated taxi (airport police 1 eye closed).
When done with your bkk hols, for return trip to airport -you'll see some "parasites" cabbies hanging at your hotel doorstep. Avoid same, as they hassle you for flat sum anything from thb400/500 and up. Go to main road and hail passing cab (or some hotel concierge help you with this, rather thb20 to him that blood sucking cabbies).
