Well i think so thats the case ...

However ... if u married to a Singaporean and holding a LTVP, a work permit can be issue ...

My BX's friend who used to not working is holding an LTVP, but then near to expiry date, instead of renewing, she actually applied for a work permit and got it approved and she is now working as a pedicure assistant ...
