I am not sure if this is actually faster since the ferry is on a limited schedule but it sure works. Oriental Glory is on the edge of CA right next to Humen and CA borders.

We paid 268 per night at The Oriental Glory hotel. I think if you go to their website, it is about the same.

DFML is next block over from Oriental Glory Hotel. Once you exit the hotel, you can see MGM hotel from where you are standing and DFML is right next to it. A simple 2 to 3 minute walk. Safe to walk from Oriental Glory to DFML.

As for SOS. It is 星之星. From Oriental Glory hotel, it is a 10 to 15 minute walk or 3 minute taxi ride. I HIGHLY recommend taking a taxi and the taxi drivers know where it is. It should charge 10rmb at the most. Reason for taking taxi is the road is dark and it is getting close to Chinese New Year in January. Crime rate has increased and it is not 100% safe to be walking around in dark places at night. You should contact PC5526 on this forums as he can set up mix KTV session for you at SOS and DFML. If you are going alone, it will be very expensive to book a room for yourself unless you are willing to blow some hard cash.

I believe PC5526 charges 300RMB all you can drink Red Wine package at SOS. Talk to him for other options.

Not too sure on exact location but those two are far from Oriental Glory. Probably around 15 to 25 minutes by taxi depending on traffic.
