Perhaps during certain conversation with parents, you can ask them about views regarding marrying a foreigner (not pertaining to thai). From there, you can hear their views and see the degree of negativity towards marrying non locals. (Of course, you know better when to talk such topics, not when they are busy with work, cooking or prime time tv programmes where their attention and interest is not there)
Alternatively, you can get to know your Thai gal better and share her virtues with your parents. Not to market her but to tell her that you have a friend who is ...perhaps hardworking, generous, compassionate...etc etc.
I believe, so long you both truly love each other you will go far and be together in the end. It may be tough initially but eventually your parents will still respect your decision as you are the one to marry her not them.
