Just sharing my experience in ShenZhen.
I fly to SZX every 4 months to do purchasing of electronic goods therefore I usually stay in Futian District (福田区), along HuaQiangBei (华强北). I alway book my hotel using Ctrip & will recommend this hotel Norinco Hotel (北方酒店), room rate is RMB298 if book via Ctrip. which is just beside HuaQiang MTR station & opposite HuaQiangBei Shopping. Lastly, this hotel is girl friendly, just inform that you have girl coming up.
Reason for choosing this hotel is b'cos Tiger will nomally touch down ard 2305hrs & by the time you reach the hotel will be almost 12 midnite. For check-in after 12 midnite, they do not charge 1 day rate but half day rate of RM149. This will be cheaper than going to spa for overnite whereby there is a minimum spending of RMB200+ for massage & most importantly, you can have your private space & comfortable bed to sleep for the night.
When come to day of departure, Tiger will only depart @2335hrs therefore I will request for late check-out before 6.00pm (they will charge again another half day rate) so I can still do my last minute shopping, rest, packing & quick shower before heading to the airport.
Normally after check-in, I'll still head to nearby spa (there are a few spa on the road beside the hotel) for a quick massage. Will get the MM number if they are pretty or chio to date them out for drink or dinner. Sucessful rate is approx 75%. Some of them will knock off around 8am & will offer them to come to my room to rest
. After rest, will bring them out for lunch & do abit of shopping, buy them some clothing & assy of not more than RMB400. Some will ask them out for drinking if they have off day then head back to hotel for action.
I know what you are thinking... How can it be so simple. It will depend on your sweet-talking during the massage in spa. But so far for me, all when well.
I have ever stay in a cheaper hotel, Motel 268 (room rate RMB198) also along HuaQiangBei but I will not stay in this hotel ever again. Although the room look clean but ever since I came back from my trip, my body feel really itchy. Maybe it is the bedsheet or blanket is not clean properly.
