Hi, am going CP in 2 weeks time, This is good info as I'm planning to go CA too. Dumb Qs here, whats the full name of DMFL? Neva been to CA lah & only been to CP once in '09 would like to checkout this ktv. Also please kindly intro exciting sauna in CA.

Below r some basic transport info from Bao-An (SZ) to DMFL for those bros who are currently somewhere in SZ;

For those in Bao-An (SZ) where i am staying, u can take the GREEN colour cab...u can nego the price with the cab driver to either travel by the meter or one fixed fare without meter running.

For my 1st trip there, i opt to travel by the meter to know the market rate and it cost me abt RMB160 (inclusive of a RMB15 toll charge) but my 2nd trip i nego with the cab driver straight and managed to bargain to RMB140 inclusive of toll + RMB10 tip. I bargained until quite hard though to get this price.

Something to take note;

1) Most cabby will change shift at 7pm so after 6pm, it will be almost impossible to hire a cab to go CA so plan your trip latest by 5.30pm or earlier. Travelling time from Bao-An to DFML is abt an hour or less. From Bao-An to CA is abt 30 to 40 mins.

2) Once you board the cab, ask the cabby does he know how to go to DFML, it will be best if you can provide him with the exact address. If the cabby still seem blur, it will be wiser to nego a fixed fare if not he will be taking you for a ride if you are running on meter. I was very very lucky to find 2 cabbies who know CA very well.
Alternatively, you can alight at CA after the toll gate exit, there is a bus station very nearby with tons of waiting cabs which you can take CA local cab to DFML but i'm not sure of the fare cos i never took this step. This is advised by my 2nd trip's cab driver which explained the RMB10 tip above.

3) From CA back to Bao-An (SZ), u can simply ask your DJ or the managers to arrange for u. My DJ managed to arrange 1 for me at RMB130 from DFML right to my Bao-An hotel door step so just let the DJ arrange n do the dirty work for you.
Make sure you emphasize with your DJ you want a driver who know his way around SZ well. Double check with the driver on your living address before you board the car. Most private car drivers have GPS so get them to input your address in their GPS before you move off.

Last but not least, for your own safety, try your very best to stay awake thoughout the journey esp. if you are on a solo trip like me.
