In VN, most of the girls seldom do ROM especiay with foreigners .... they only perform the vietnamese customs ritual marriage - which is MOST important of all ....
for foreigners to ROM is VN is troublesome and difficult, many processes .. 1 is definitley to get a 'SINGLE' letter for the country's authority .... 2 got to send in application form to the local authority for approval ... and etc ...
It is easier to ROM in Singapore and get it RECOGNISED in VN .... in order for me to register my name as the baby's father, i need to get our marriage recognised but then was told not necessary to get it recognised adn the ROM paper is more than enough to recognised that I and my wife are legally married ...
JUst to share ... regarding this type of matter ... Visit the city / province's JUSTICE DEPARTMENT or 'So Tu Phap'
I register my baby's birth and her certificate at the Main City/province So Tu Phap ... I went there because the so called Town So Tu Phap was too afraid to process our application coz it invlove a foreigner and was told to go straight to the main city/province CTF...
