Floggers (esp rubber ones) do not leave marks like canes do, and can still put you in your place
Crops are also not too bad with marks. Otherwise I tell the Mistress to limit marks to areas hidden by short pants, and stay covered for a few days . . . again, cane marks last longer and are more distinct.
Aloe and witch hazel also help speed things up . .
However ONE time when travelling, a Domme enjoyed face slapping (alot!) and wore me out. The next day both sides of my face were raw. Luckily I was on a flight, so I just said I got a rash from the airplane blanket . .
Give some rubber floggers a try . .
