My wife just told me that her 2nd elder sister, the one that i mentioned before that she and her husband doesn't work and laze around all day, has been going around telling other siblings that she is damm fed up with me and my wife. She says that everyone either gives them money to use or lend them money, only I (this damm singaporean) doesn't give her or lend her money. She wants 30 Million VND, i say don't have, she wants 3K USD, i also say don't have. She says she wants to create problem for my wife and i , so that we will divorce and my wife will go back VN and work to support her and her husband. Damm..... i was damm furious when i heard that.
But my wife said something that's realistic too, she said it all depends on herself. If she's stupid, she will do that. She knows her 2nd elder sister is too much and she will not give in to her demands. What's interesting is that we also heard that my MIW lend this 2nd Elder Sister over 70 Million VND in cash and gold over the past few months. All the while, my wife thought her mum is very poor (as claimed by her mum), now my wife knows her mother is loaded. So its a pack of lies all these years.
Actually all these are common among normal vietnamese families. So for brothers thinking of getting a vietnamese spouse, this is one of the problem that you have to face.
