I have the chance to go to Macau for business. 1st of all i want to thanks a HK forum and SBF for the info on Macau action.
I have do a few FR at the HK forum, but did not at SBF till now as i found out my very old SBF account like tio deleted?
Intro to Macau
1. Macau accept MOP(their own currency),HKD(all) and RMB(most) in most place, however HKD has more value and the rate is better than RMB.
*Change back all your MOP to SGD or HKD at bank/airport b4 you fly back as lots of place dun accept MOP
2. Most shop will always give you back MOP as the rates suck
3. If you speak Cantonese is a plus plus at Macau, mandarin also not bad as most of the tourist goes to Macau are ppl from China.
4. Macau is a small place, they dun have MRT, Highway, bus is 3-4 MOP only cheap cheap.

7. Macau as of 2011 have 2 island, most of the action is at Macau Island and 氹仔 Taipa only very few (FL at casino)
8. Macau weather is just as hot as Singapore at some month (check wiki), i went there during Aug-Sep and afternoon is hot with sweat....
