Boss: Wait, today, i am taking lunch with both of u.
I: Huh? Oh, okay... My thought, i had been there for months and he had never took lunch with neither Serene nor me. Today, what is the big occasion?

Nonetheless, since the boss had already mentioned, we had no choice but to take lunch with him... Boss took us to the mixed vegetable stall and bought us lunch. During lunch time, boss was speaking nicely to Eve all the time. i was like an invisible man and to be honest, i don't really care. I guess all guys are like that and i wouldn't be any different if i am in my boss's shoes.

After lunch, we had no choice but to go back directly to office with boss. I suppose that there are pros and cons about taking lunch with your boss, the pros being the lunch is being paid for and the cons being an hour lunch break being a 15 mins break whereby u have to finish ur lunch hastily and get back to work quickly.

The rest of the day went by quickly, obviously without boss paying any attention on me now that he got Eve. Occasionally , i took a glance at boss, saw that he is inching his chair closer and closer to Eve and chatting happily with her.

Time flew by and it wasn't long before Eve had been with the Company for a few months. Eve and i remained on close terms, leaving office together on days where there are classes and taking our lunches together virtually everyday. However, on days where there are no classes, she still mysteriously bolted off when the day ended. Although i was tempted to ask her what was the reason, i choose not to believing she might had a bf and therefore, on these days, he might be picking her up...

However, it was during one day where we are required to work overtime that things came to light...
