Its good to give exact amount, personally have encountered changes not being returned or even if the waitress return, she will give u that look like they expect u to take the big notes and leave the 2s & 5s for them. Its will happen at every order! It happens even more once the waitress sees that you've consumed high volumes of alcohol. More opportunity for them to keep the change for themselves without being asked for the change back.
If you ask the waitress to order drinks for the ladys, it will be way more watered down, even more than it'll be if you were to order for yourself.
Also if you ordered a bottle of expensive wine/champagne(, be sure to have your friend be at the table if you're going to go off to the smoking room or gents. I ordered a bottle for the ladies and after just drinking a glass, went for a smoke, returning back I see the waitress taking the bottle away from the table, pouring the entire content into the bucket and whisking off to the bar's basin. But trying not to look rattled up, I pretend to not know what has just happened, and ask the ladies where's the drink. As expected the reply was that they have consumed the entire bottle already. A few minutes later, the same waitress who poured away the entire bottle of its content returns to prompt me to get another bottle for the ladies.
