Because of all these, she has to seek another person to take care of her (carrothead?).
But all things considered, Singapore still offers her a better life than in Vietnam. She is afraid that with divorce, the LTSVP pass will be cancelled and she has to live Singapore IMMEDIATELY. (She want to work and earn a little money first then return home - if life becomes intolerable).

If what she say is true, then is another sad case for a vietnamese spouse. The LTVP sponsor was her husband,so if the divorce case was file, chances of her going back is high or immediately but if she has a very solid reason to stay here, they might extend or give her few months of visa but she CANNOT WORK.
She told u life here is better, almost all of them who came from poor family will say so but if she want to work, she have to take the risk of working illegally and if get caught, she will be denied coming in next time
she seek another person as a carrot cake to take care of her,so i bet she might not be as pity as what she told u since she is doing something bad behind her husband back even before they start the divorce which i deem as she have a 'motive' of coming here.Maybe u just heard one side of the story only
