Hell, I don't think my wife likes me out of pure love. If she does me (whether she still does is a completely different question ), she likes me probably because of my reasonable paycheck or some other desirable features I may have (unfortunately I don't have many ).

So, when it comes to love, why a girl likes you doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is whether or not you have her. If she is with me, she loves me. If not, she doesn't. It is quite simple....
