Just to add on that, if she is the one who felt being not happy with you, then find out the reason, rather than suffer in silence. Going thru 3rd party is an alternative to direct confrontation that hurts both party even more.

I hope you are not bull minded, nor get upset or yell at her before, becos she will paint such a picture to her parents, of you being a very bad husband.

If she needs some time to consider over the relationship, let her, as it could be her fork road in her life. She has to choose. She need some personal space and time to consider.

If there is someone else whom she is close to in work or as friends, it is likely she go to them to talk things out. And maybe that is why you are suspicious about it.

Afterall, you mention she went thru thick and thin with you, in hard times too, that shows she loves you n willing to be with you all the way. Could it be you done something that hurt her so bad that she cannot take it anymore?
I hope I am wrong about it. But as men, we have our weakness as well, such as gambling, drinking and womanising, or even spending lavishly on entertainment. There is always a limit what the woman can tahan, and even they stay, usually it is for the kids, or for some reasons. But the love is never the same again.
