Paranoia is perhaps too strong a word to describe your fb's reluctuance to meet other samsters.
If he's like most people who know how to act blur when the phrase "sbf" comes up in conversations with friends/colleagues (see below somewhat similar thread), what more his wish to maintain anonymity & only meet people on his own terms?
