VN still very bad place to live, policy not transparent corruption is hardcore. Everytimes i go back have to bring the cung angs there for ca phe and meals, if not they will also come my wife place to eat n drink.
Even with their presences, i still have problem buying house even using my wife name until i give up.

vietnam is not a bad place to live is just that we born in sg is too comfortable with our law and order,safe and fast system.so when we go to a 3rd world country,we always compare with our little red dote
They grown up in a society whereby they have to find their ways of earning money.Govertment dont take care,just want money.Their system is run in a way whereby everybody just want to get something from each other.
everywhere is the same,our little red dote ppl also but is just that they do it in a 'clever or professional way' unlike them.
Yes they jack up the price when they know u are a foreigner but over here is jack up the price and say cost increase,so they no choice have to up the cup of kopi o to 90 cents from 70 cents.
Govertment say no choice cos everything is they let market force decide,they say everywhere is inflation,so they will ask ntuc not to increase their household brands, is the same except the action is different
So if u really want to retired there,prepare for all the shit and i mean really those unexpected shit that will happen or else better retire here.At least when u call sg police to complain that your neighbour is too noisy and u cant sleep,they will come and not at there,they will scold u
