Re: Fukuoka - South Japan
I was in Fukuoka in 2008 with a friend and we walked through Nakasu island during day time and night time. Indeed there are many KTV bars there. In the afternoon there were offers of 1 hour all you can drink with a female companion for JPY5,000. At least, according to the touts. We did not go in.
At night we were offered by a tout to bring us to a Soapland. I highly doubted this since I heard from visitors to Japan that such places are usually very unfriendly to foreigners. Our curiosity got the best of us so we followed. To my surprise they let us in. Perhaps because I look very Japanese. A lot of people in Singapore say that too. And, I can understand a few basic words. He brought us to a place which I believe was in either block 1 or block 2 on Nakasu. The entrance was just a door in a small inconspicuous building.
