Inside we were led to a small waiting room full of hentai comics. There was a dude waiting and he became very nervous when he saw two gaijin coming in. Anyways, the manager sat us down and offered us drinks. He then went out to get some pictures of the girls working that night. He came back with only 3 photos (perhaps only 3 were willing to accept foreigners) that were very blur. You could hardly make out how the girls look like. Well beggars can't be choosers so we randomly picked a girl. The cost was JPY12,000 for 45 minutes or 1 hour. I can't remember.

I had to wait a full hour before the girl that I picked was available. During the wait two more guys came in. I noticed that Japanese men are very shy in these places. They hardly uttered a word even when the manager asked them what drinks they wanted or which girls to pick. They simply said 'hai' to drinks and nodded. And only pointed to the photo of the girl they wanted. No questions asked. Odd.
