I don't like Pacific at all. Really "impersonal" service, but it's a matter of personal feeling. I stay at Formosa and now I feel like at home there
1) At Formosa I NEVER had a single coin stolen from the room! Don't worry for your things in the safety box. Great staff there.
2) Communication is always a problem. Many people speak only bahasa. But if you have no problem, there is less fun (even with papi)
Communications problems in Pacific disco? Due to the music, the conversation on the dance floor tend to be very basic in most cases. Unless you don't plan to debate economy or philosophy, you should not need high conversational skills there.
3) Friday in Batam? I am envious. At your place, I would:
- go to NoName, M, or other pubs till 2am
- move to Pacific later, if I don't meet anybody interesting at Noname earlier, or with my new friend.
