strange that the taxi there is quite expensive even when their oil is subsidized.

One trip at least 30k (5 mins trip). And from nogoya hill to ferry costs 40k, which is more than 5 buck for short trip.

Considering that 50k can get you an 1 hr massage (in Singapore S$30). But in Singapore the taxi ride cost S$5.

Is it as expensive for locals?
