Applicable ONLY to Stupid Vietnam ... If your bb holds a Vietnamese PP, u Better bring your Birth Cert, they will want to check n verify before the Counter Staff allows you to Check-in your BB.... Even when my wife travels to Singapore, they want to check if she is married to me, now married, must check if she got rights to stay on Singapore, so now show LTVP Card.
For those single, that's why they always a piece of undertaking paper.
This process happens for the stupid past 2 years of travel, although my bb got a 21 years right of entry chop, they will still ask this n ask that. Idiot !

As Long as the Mother is a Legal Vietnamese, she CAN make your BB a Vietnamese TOO ... She don't need you or your approval.
Limit the stay with a SG PP is true n I Agree with that ... BUT then, that CAN be Arranged and Changed ....

My friend's BB was borned in SG n holds a SC n SG PP, Went to VN Embassy and they give the BB Vietnamese Residency n now the BB holds dual Citizenship n can stays forever in VN.
