I just encountered this scam:

I was drinking at a nearby ktv when I recieve a text from a girl. Says she's from shanghai, a student here, 20 years old. Tells me broke up with her bf cos he cheated on her, she wants to have a fling. I say cut the bullshit, how much is she gonna charge me, she say free. Only condition that this is strictly ons, we cannot contact each other after that.

Before any one flames me, I should have known better that nothing comes free, but I still act smart want to try. This thread to warn bros not to fall into this trap!

Anyway, she tells me to book a room and she'll be there soon. I booked, gave her the room number, and she tells me to take a shower first since she's taking one at her place now.

Since got time, I took a shower, halfway through, my doorbell rang. By luck or dunno what, I peeped through the peephole....

Wtf!!! Got one guy standing there! Message me on wechat that "she" is here, ask me open door. I ignore the door ringing (constant ringing) for about 5 mins. Then my room phone rang. I felt not right and did not answer.

After a couple of mins, I called the frontdesk and asked of they called. They say yes, are you expecting any guest. I honestly told them no, the "guest" at the frontdesk is a guy right? Frontdesk said yes, I say I have no idea who the hell is he. Told frontdesk I need help, please get someone to escort me down and that's it.

I have no idea that the fucker was trying to do and I'm not waiting to find out.

Bros, now another idiot(me)try to act smart and almost kana conned. I learned not to anymore, I just don't want anyone to be in my shoes and get something worse.
