OK, you've got 2 weeks in Shenzhen, bursting balls and around RMB 3,000 to spend on mongering - and first thing I'd advise you is to NOT go gang-busters as soon as you get there. 5 years abstinence IS a long time and seeing all the SYT's walking about there, I'd worry that you'd go nuts with all sorts of imagery as to all the possibilities of at last "letting go!"
Also, I DO recommend AGAIN to you to do your own reading as to the wealth of information on our forum - which will give you a pretty good idea as to what all the possibilities are; after all, other bros did take the trouble to put up such information to benefit others and it would be a bit of a slap in the face to them if you then just dismiss such efforts by others. Right?
And if you still cannot get enough information here ( I doubt it), then you could also read up the Shenzhen/China reports in other sex forums such as sex141, Mamak, ISG etc.
Anyway, first do a bit of walking about to familiarize yourself with the lay of the land in SZ and maybe then go to a foot massage place. Get yourself pampered for an hour for approximately RMB 50, and conversations as to what all else MAY be on offer. Fun thing to do and usually quite informative as to the possibilities - at the place and also at other establishments.
Next, then go to the Hooker alleys - Hubei Cun, Jiangxi Cun, ShaTsui etc (get the exact directions etc from other reports!!) and just look first. But if you really cain't hold it together, no problem as its only RMB 150 at their place, a bit more if you take them back to your hotel. Just one shot to a maximum of 45 - 60 minutes from a BBS!
Next, go to some of the Sauna Parlors that abound - and remember, the operative word is sauna or 桑拿 (Sangna) to indicate that there's more than just a rub down that's on offer at places designated "Spa" or "Massage parlors." A lot of these saunas are in Hotels - from the lowest rated ones to the highest one!! Saunas will usually allow 2 pops for around 2 to 3 hours of "full service" and costs ranges from RMB 600 to 1,500 and above. And again this is just to see what's available before you commit to anything. Don't be shy to ASK what is the rate and what all it includes and to even get a "Preview" of the girls on offer. All you have to do is say thank you and tell them you'll be "back later as I've got something to do right now" when you walk away
And last, go to some of the local pubs or Discos like Colors in DongMen and see if you can manage to score freebies (or at least a freeby who you may still end up having to pay in the end. LOL!). Good thing to do in China - especially for those who're a bit out of practice with "the Game" or who's had a bit of snaffuu in their sex life as you've had (But Hey....that's 5 years ago - too long!! Forget about it!!). Chinese girls somehow don't mind age as much as other girls and seem to want to hone in on older guys who to them, spells more security, material advantage etc. Try this - GREAT for the ego and to build up your confidence.

And I'd think that you should NOT aim at going to a KTV as it just costs too much in Shenzhen (actually also in most other parts of China and the world!). If you do still want to go, then you should aim for those around ShaTsui where its quite cheap and they'll supply you with BBS gals to sit with you - some for as cheap as 100 sitting fee and 300 for one pop.
