I start this new thread as both the property market and share market are very hot recently. STI has broken many resistances and reached 2,659.20 last Friday.

Cherie, a SYT is about 1.6m, has a pair of beautiful eyes, long black hair, healthy chest, slim hips, and a nice round ass together with her boyfriend was introduced by a lady friend of my girlfriend, Jamie during a holiday in America a few years back.

Although Cherie caught my attention in the beginning, but since she has a steady boyfriend, I did not fascinate for anything of her at all.

Cherie (1)

One day, 2007, I received a call from Cherie,

She said, “Hi BT, I’m Cherie. We were in the same USA’s tour a few years ago.”

BT said, “Yes. I can remember. How are you?”

She said, “Fine. I just joined a real estate company, FSB recently. There’s a soft launch before the weekend and the condo is located just a stone throw away a MRT station. It’s a very good buy. Are you interested?”

She told me some details regarding the project and made arrangement to meet her at the show flat. Since I have to rush for a report that was due the same afternoon, we chatted for a while and then we hung up the phone.

I met Cherie a few days later. She dressed in a nice suit with sexy heels. The show flat was damn crowed but she managed to show me around and we sat down at one corner and she said, “I guarantee. Sure make money. Go for the 2 bedder. I recommend Unit xx-xx or unit yy-yy.”

I asked,” If sure make money, why don’t you buy?”

She said,” I bought three 4 bedders.”

I asked, “You’re damn rich. “

She said,” No lar. I share with my colleagues.”

I mumbled, “Oh, I see.”

Thereafter, she introduced a lady banker to me. She explained to me the details of the housing loan and eventually I took out the Deferred Payment Scheme and I paid the 1% option money.

Then, she asked, “How much is your expected profit?”

I joked with her and said, “100%.”

She smile and pretended to punch me with her right fist and said, “You must be kidding.”

I laugh and said, “I’m just pulling you leg.”

Then, I told her about my expected profit and I said,” I guess I have to wait for at least one and a half year.”

She said, “BT, the market is damn hot. Anyway, I will call you when I found the buyer.”

Before I left the show flat, she said,” BT, why don’t you buy one more unit? You will be regretted in future. If you have any relatives or friends who want to buy properties, you can call me anytime, anywhere.”

I answered, “No money liao. I will call you. Can I call you other than properties?”

She smile and said,” Why not? See you.”

I said, “Bye bye.”

Few months later, I received a call from Cherie.

Cherie said, “BT, a piece of good news for you. I just found you an Indonesian buyer. The price is about $XXX psf. Do you want to sell it?”

I said, “So fast! You must be kidding. Have you sold your units?”

She said, “We sold them long time ago. I just bought one unit at Orchard Road area. Are you interested?”

She added, “I share with my colleagues.”

I said,” No money Liao. Is it a good price?”

She said, “Definitely.”

Then, I said, “Ok lor.”

She said, “Very well.”

We made an arrangement for her to meet me in my office the same day for the signing of documents.

Few hours later, she came to my office, she told me that in order for her to negotiate with the buyer and close the deal fast, she requested me to sign on different Option to Purchase forms with different psf and leave the period of option to purchase blank. I did what she has told me.

Two days later, a Thursday, Cherie called me and told me the buyer has made the offer of $XXX psf and I can collect the option money anytime on that day. Since I was quite near to her office when she called me, I told that I will meet her in her office.

Moment later, I met her in her office. She told me that the buyer has requested to extend the deadline of the exercise of option to six week and then, she handed to me a cheque.

When I saw the cheque, the name on the cheque appeared to be a Singaporean. So, I asked, “I thought you have informed me that the buyer is an Indonesian. How come the owner of the cheque is a Singaporean?”

She said,” Oh. The buyer doesn’t have an account in Singapore. My colleague helps him to issue this cheque. ”

I said, “I see. Then, Ok lor. Anyway, six weeks is not that long.”

I took the cheque from her and I dropped the cheque in the quick cheque deposited box on the way back.

It was Monday afternoon the following week; I received a call from the bank that I have deposited, a lady told me that the said cheque was not honour. I was very surprise.

After I hung up the phone, I called Cherie.

Cherie told me that her colleague has deposited the money on Friday, which was too late. So, she told me she will ask her colleague to bank in cash to my account immediately.

When I told her of the above-mentioned matter, I was quite angry and worry that the buyer might have not have money to exercise the option and then she sensed it and she said, “BT, don’t worry. They have no reason not to exercise the option."

Then, I said, “Since the cheque was not honour, I can void the deal.”

She apologize and said, “BT, Please don’t do that to me. It’s my fault. The buyer may sue me. I owe you one treat."

Then, I said, “Since you are my friend, I give you one more chance. By 1 pm, I wanna to see the money in my account. “

She said, “Sorry lor. Once My colleague bank in the cash, I will call you.”

We hung up the phone.

About half an hour later, Cherie call and she said, “BT, I have bank in the cash. Sorry lor. Please check your account”

After I hung up her phone, from on-line banking, I noticed that the money has deposited in my account.

The same evening, I called another friend who is an agent. I told him about the incident then I realized that Cherie was selling an option to another agent or agents. My friend told me that many agents did that although it was against ethical code of agents.

I was very angry that night. So, I searched for the web page of FSB for the e-mail address of Cherie’s boss and I filed a complaint against her.

The next day, late morning, I received a call from Cherie; she told me that she wanted to talk over this matter.

Cherie said, “BT, I have a lot of viewing today. Can I meet you in your office this evening? Say, 7.00 pm.”

I said,”Ok lor.”

Cherie came into my office at around 7.10 pm. At that time, my colleagues were in the office. So, I visited her to the meeting room.

Then, I said,”Cherie. How can you treat a friend like that?”

She remained silent.

I took out the Option to Purchase form and pointed to the name of the buyer column and said,” Look at this. The buyer is Mr. Tan Ah Khaw and/or nominees. Apparently. You are selling option and making money at the expense of me. Your friend!”

She still remained silent.

Then, I said, “How are you going to settle this matter?”

She broke silent and said, “BT, Sorry. It’s not my idea. You know…. Actually, I lair to you. I can’t afford those 4 bedder apartments. I lost more than $250,000.00 in stocks since the burst of the tech bubbles. I’m heavily in debt. I tried very hard to pay back my debt but it’s very tough.

I puzzled.

She continued, “I’m new to this line. Many things are beyond my control. My boss forced me to do that. He even forced me to……”

She paused and mumbled, “He even forced me to sleep with him.”

great story, if I were in your shoes,most probably will find a pub,let her pour out her sorrows over a drink,try to play a listening ear to her stories. Who knows what she may suggests to you and what further relationship may delelop from there
