Happened to me before, many many years back, when I was still inexperienced.

It wasn't in a massage parlour, it was in a hotel room. She helped herself to my wallet when I was in the shower. Lost a hundred + bucks but learnt a valuable lesson.

If can, try to avoid bringing them back to your room, if cannot, pay them, watch them leave, bolt the door then go do whatever....

for parlour, they are registered masseuse,
will not take money.

Usually I leave my day to day wallet in secure place in my car. Then I take a separate old wallet, just containing cash about $100-120, usually a mixture of 50 and 10 dollar notes, and just the nric in case of spot checks.
