Author's notes: First time I'm trying to write in a more local context. Please pardon me if my grasp of the dialect isn't so good.

Willie was meeting his friend at balestier shaw plaza for lunch. Being the early one, he always reached at least 15mins earlier, and james was the late one, as usual. However, james did not make it this time due to stomachache, and left him alone to explore the area by himself.

He decided to have lunch at a fast food restaurant, it was really early at 11am, and there were not many people around on a saturday at 11am, save for a few secondary school kids dropping by after CCA. Ariel got stunned and blushed, smiling to herself as she opened her wrapper.

They soon finished their meal, chatting along the way, knowing more about each other. It turns out that all of them were from the same secondary school, but went to different schools after O levels. Willie went to poly, while Ariel and Cheryl went on to JC and ITE respectively. Willie was a year older than them, while Ariel and Cheryl just met up after their first year in school.

W: Ehh where you all live sia? I send you both home can?
C: Whoever said we were going home?
W: Simi lanjiao? Not going home then go where? Hotel ah?

Not knowing where to go, they wandered along balestier road, until they came across hotel81.

Ariel choked back a laughter, as she and Cheryl waited outside while Willie went to book a room for 4 hours as agreed. In the back of his mind, he was thinking of how they should return his favour of booking the room for them...

Author's notes: Thanks hokkienguy for upping my points, I'm still experimenting with writing such local stories, instead of the usual neighbours, friends, sex stories etc etc. I think this story has a more local flavour to it ^^
