someone ( my friend ) ask me for help .

he say his friend from malaysia will transfer money to my acc and ask me to transfer back to him via western union .

every transacation , he will pay me $50 .

is it legal ?

Don't do it. It's not worth it. How much are you to transfer back for a $50 comm?? There is a limit you can send out of SG everyday and you have to fill in and sign a form stating what the money send out is for. I believe the max. is SGD10,000 per day. If anything happens the form you fill in will get you into trouble. If you doubt what I just said above, just go stand in line in the Post Office where they do money transfers and you will find out more. Even a transfer of SGD2000 by a maid she has to declare what the money is for.
