Base on experience and observation, most Chinese mm, whether OL, FL or WL, they kind of expect guys to foot the bills, be it small or big. It becomes such a norm I am also sort of get use to it, though I do not really agreeable to this. Anyway, I do have some good experience in Beijing.

Beijing women lead sexiness survey

THE results are in: Beijing women have a sexier self-image than their counterparts in Shanghai and Guangzhou.

A recent survey shows 33% of young women in Beijing think they are sexy, compared to only 24% in Shanghai and 15% in Guangzhou.

The British advertising agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH) and consumer research company Jigsaw International polled 1,000 women between the ages of 15 and 35 in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou for the “China Whispers” survey.

But not everyone agreed with the results. “To me, Shanghai women are more sexy than Beijing women,” said Ying Yan, a 30-year-old woman who has lived in both cities.

“More Beijing women think they are sexy because they’re more confident about saying so. Shanghai women are more shy about saying such things.”

Only 37% of the respondents said they would never consider going under the knife for plastic surgery. And the epic battle to drop a dress size seems to be universal, with 42% having tried to lose weight in the past three months.

“The consumer-scape in China changes at a speed which often catches marketers out,” said Pete Heskett, head of planning at BBH China.

The survey’s goal was to identify the lifestyles, attitudes and pop culture preferences of young people in major cities.

The results showed that young Chinese shoppers have ever deeper pockets, with 52% saying they had spent more than 1,000 yuan (RM500) on a single item of clothing.

I cant really contribute any exciting F.R here, therefore being a 蔡鸟, I can only offer some insights on what I discovered after staying 5 days in Beijing. True or not true, its just what I pounced upon

Actually, after browsing thru quite a few websites, there are a numerous avenues to get FL or those "Typical Massage Girls" etc etc.

Plus on "Jiu Bar Jie" in Sanlitun, chances that you might encounter a few touts asking if you want "special service", which should be avoided IMHO.

A naive me only realised that local Chinese are much much more liberal in many many sense. They even have websites blog showing off their pictures and asking price

There are even recommendations to visit Hutong Salons whereby country girls will wash and cut for a modest fee and offer "good time" for a fraction of what it cost for a massage girl to ask for.

However said, all the above, I tried none Not adventurous enough or whatever excuses I can think of, the theory part is exciting enough for me. Going to Beijing on a biz trip Next month. Went through a number of the post but getting mix signals. Some questions,

Street Pickup:
When I see mamasan on the street should follow or shouldnt(I think there was 2-3 post saying yes) or can i just get them to bring the girl to my place. Not confirm hotel yet but usually which hotels are the girl friendly as well as safe ones, usually the more exp ones or the cheaper ones.

Massage:
Do most hotel masseur provide special services or is it safer just to use one of numbers posted in the thread.

Health Centers:
I dont think I came across any post on HCs. Are there any in Beijing, charges and services provided?

Others:
Not a KTV/club guy, is there any other locations to pick up gals e.g. the rows of BBS in Jiangsu and Shanghai

No...man...dont go with mamasan/papasan...dont even mentioned yr hotel room no.

There hve been cases of fraud...& even fraudulent policeman to demand $$$
& Beijing is the capital..prostituitition is illegal..man
Most of the cheaper hotel turns a blind eye while international hotel does have a policy to register yr guest and before 11pm...one clue...check things out between 11pm - 12pm..if there are alot of gals coming in & out, its girl-friendly...OK..

Yes, there are HC...one in Jiangsu Hotel...Andingmen...RMB600+, massage + HJ...FJ...3rd floor...ask for Ben...operated by Malaysian co.

BBS in Shanghai are plentiful..shld be OK..but as usual...capped OK...
