I guess my thoughts are like this

If u are looking for ons or short term girlfriend, yes, a car matters a lot. But u will need time and energy to chase these gals.

Might be a better idea to focus the time and energy on work, better payoff
If u feel the urge, go for commercial

If looking for wife, then a car should not matter at all.
Take pride in oneself and then be the person u need to be

with the price of COE now, its hard to buy a car.
