Do live streaming can get gifts. Many see tiktok as an alternative way to keep in touch with customers because their wechat can be banned at any time. If they shift to a new shop, easy to inform customers. They like that tiktok cannot be seen in China.

Newbies to Singapore lack regulars. If the shop doesn't introduce existing customer base to them, they don't do well for first 2 months. Tiktok and wechat people nearby are 2 methods to find new customers. Sometimes their 闺蜜 already in Singapore will support by introducing them a few customers.

The successful tiktok ML say tiktok algorithm works if they upload 1 video per day consistently. If they upload a few videos and then take a few days break, tiktok doesn't push their videos as effectively

actually now its overflowing with so many massage shops.. so much supplies and demand hasn't change much. Unless our population suddenly jump from 6 to 10m if not, it will remain the same or worst

True. tiktok is the trending app to get customer base now. I think this app has somehow helped the spa and ML.

The ML whom I know for awhile is now heavily using tiktok to build up her customer base at her new place. She has been posting video and photo daily and can occasionally live to bring in customer.

Wechat keep banning as in the people look around does not allow her to add new people. Michat is irritating with constant advertisment.

Imo while tiktok filters help to beautify, they can only do so much. Have seen a lot of gals turn on filters max still cui lol. You can more or less expect 80% of the real thing in person with makeup.

Sometimes when they step out of camera and step back in, the filters drop for a while and u can see their real faces. Their faces get slightly bigger is the main diff. But people also tend to look worse on camera.

Besides doing live, been seeing quite a few MLs post streams of their daily workout in Gyms, morning runs, Yoga. Love it when they post it after sweat out..
