Soon, it was lunchtime. It was a quiet day for me as my usual kakis were out of office, so only me one person going for lunch today. Decided to try my luck and ask her to join me, thinking of the good one to one time I'm going to have with her, hehe.

Me: Really? Cannot be. No activities or sports meh?
K: Sometimes I go swimming.

The words just blurted out before I even realised what I had done. Shit. I just asked her out! What if she rejects me? Die, start to panic liao. At the time, I really wanted to watch the movie and was looking for kakis, not specifically aiming her.

K: Ok! But I only watch at Cathay cinemas. Don't like the other cinemas.

Me: Ok ok, I go check movie timings later and I let you know again k. What's your number?

Just like that, we sort of arranged our first date. I had a stupid grin plastered on my face for the rest of the day, and couldn't wait for the weekend to come. My lucky stars were shining on me, and they'd only shine brighter in the hours to come, hehe.
