The chance of legal prostitution with HIV is extremely low due to the regular screening. Don't worry too much at present, after 1.5 month go back the house and check whether the girl is still there, if yes, then you are probably clean with HIV

Regarding other STD, there is some chance to get them, but they are not a big deal as most can be cured.

Most of them got herpes thus if checked, there wont be any girls for you. In fact most of us got hsv virus, it is just either 1 or 2 or both and whether we display any symptoms. If no symptoms we will die without knowing we got this virus.

I think most Singaporeans do not have herpes virus in their bodies. We are more of a conservative society and do not anyhow kiss with strangers. What you quote are Europeans and Americans who have a different culture from us.

For example, I did a blood test for myself numerous times and the HSV antibodies for both types 1 and 2 are negative all the times. The values of the blood tests are about 0.1 and 0.25. Less than 0.90 means negative.

Hence, it's good to go for a blood test in HSV to ensure you don't carry the virus and spread it to your partner in future.

Singapore is the only country in South East Asia where prostitution is legal - it is only pimping that is illegal - there is a move to criminalize it indirectly via trafficking laws.

It is hardly a conservative society ... the rich and powerful live by very different rules as in most places.
