I think more likely some fungus infection than herpes lah....very common for guys to get from a bbbj if the gal does not practice good oral hygiene, like rinsing mouth after eating etc. Think wrong for GP to say its herpes without conclusive testing..anyway don't think adviseable to use dettol for cleaning dick especially near dick head, if not careful kill all the good bacteria and end up with fungus infection of the head than you will really tak boleh tahan, your head will all swell up and itch like hell..

nurse last time told me before don't ever use dettol to clean wounds, instead of cleaning end up wound fester and get infected cos dettol is too strong..its best to use just sterile solution to clean out the wound than apply the necessary medication..

Tell me the name of the antibiotic and I will tell you what you likely had.

Just from the fact that your rash cleared up with an antibiotic tells me that it cannot be Herpes and it cannot be a fungus.

My guess is that it is a folliculitis or impetigo.
