yes there is and so has altitude. EPL was right . altitude rated 3 out of a few thousand bars/restos whilst KDT rated 2xx . booked altitude. thanks again to both of yous

You are welcome. Was hoping you will go KDT since its pretty new. And then give feedback. I would love to try all the rooftop bars in SG. But budget is an issue. I aim to keep all outings at an affordable rates.

Is there a cover at altitude? I am not too sure about that usually just booked a table about 100++ per person for minimim spending.

Interest Check on Kuala Lumpur Trip 5 Apr 2013 to 7 Apr 2013

Alright after much considerations we have decided to change the KL Trip to April instead of March, pretty much everything is the same only the dates have changed.

EPL and me have decided to organised an overseas trip to KL this April, we will mainly be there for shopping, food and hitting the clubs at night, therefore we are running a post to check on the interest level and possibility of organised overseas event.

We have sourced for what seems to be a good and reasonable deal and trying to keep it economical for this to work, samsters who are interested in going and owns a car are encouraged to do so, I myself can take about 5 passengers comfortably and if we have more samsters who are willing to drive and owns a car then we will skip the idea of taking a coach. All expenses will be split evenly.

Details are as follows:

Date: 5 Apr 2013 (Fri) to 7 Apr 2013 (Sun). those who are working might have to take leave as we will be targeting the early coaches and be in KL by 2-3pm for check in.

Hotel: Somewhere in Bukit Bintang or KLCC area for easy access to malls and clubs

Transport: Self Drive or coach depending if we have more samsters who owns a car

Approximate Cost based on twin sharing: $140 for 3 days 2 nights, includes coach and hotel stay.

Approximate Cost based on single: $220 for 3 days 2 nights, includes coach and hotel stay.

Please note that this is not a confirmed event as we are targeting about minimum 10 pax before this is a go. If we have more then I will probably talk to an agency to secure a better deal. Please kindly make sure that you are available to go before sending me a pm. We will close this by 9 Mar 2013 and confirmed this event so everyone gets sufficient time to plan for its individual schedule. Samsters who drives and owns a car please do let me know how many you can take comfortably, normal sedan at 4, MPVs at 6 and SUVs at 4-5.

Lastly if you are able to contribute to this event in any ways for example getting good hotel deals, charted coaches, inland tours do let me know too.

KDT is extremely small, like a small little pub chuck one corner by the pool. Oh yeah the view is great though other then that its nothing impressive.
