This forum uses vBulletin, which can log the IP addresses of the users - where they logged in from. It also logs the IP addresses when a new account is created. Now I'm not sure if the admin has this activated or not, but it is one way of detecting who has multiple accounts.

The problem is admins take a very soft approach to this. For example, they could:

1. Block users with multiple accounts linked to the same IPs
2. Ban users (based on IPs) whose reputation points drop below a certain threshold, eg -10 or 0 if strict.
3. Take a stricter approach to moderating the forums eg banning users who post addresses/contact details, photos of MP locations, or copying FRs (they sometimes do that, but not all the time, and have to reply on people to report first).

Using sms verification for the registration process is hard but not impossible. It will cost money though to do so and there are privacy concerns (would you provide the admins your contact number, which may one day be traceable to you?). IP tracking can of course be bypassed but you do need to be more technically inclined to know how to do so. IP is still the best way to handle multiple account users or errant users.

This forum used to be a source to exchange information about our hobby, but until it is better moderated, it is quickly becoming a source that is destroying our hobby.

Maybe the admins just don't want to imitate the gahmen (top down, heavy handed, slap you with ISA type approach)... :P

@johnlee, not you but a Johnny Lee, seems like the post was deleted, no worries. Those nicks I usually seek out are those who deliberately lift out old threads, those who post too obvious FRs, etc.

Let's all keep a lookout to for these Sabo Kings and reduce bros of the error of providing info or contacts to Sabo Kings.

Ever since the AV started clamping hard and the increasing presence of sabo kings, very soon more and more of the places we go to will simply be shut down.

Yes, people may argue this trade will never die no matter how hard the AV clamps down on it. Yes, new shops and gals will replace the old ones.

But things will no longer be the same... SBF used to a good place to share information and good spots but now it is become quite distorted compared to what it used to be.

We can't have our fun and the girls have a harder time making their living.

Today, there's no Sabo King to report on, well at least for me. But you guys if you find this thread helps, do contribute and keep this thread updated.

Today I am the sabo king myself posted a full FR on KSC joint. Felt kana chopped so I did that.

The place is easy to find without me revealing unit number or gal's name.

Flame me if you guys wanna but I feel this joint is not worth protecting, so I post.

I think we can't hope to have our cake and eat it.. in other words, there's no way, right now, to distinguish between people with the intent to sabo joints because of whatever reasons (competitor, just like to sabo, idiot) and genuine FRs from people like you who got burned. We can't deduct points from 'sabo kings' and yet protect people like you with genuine FRs. This forum cannot work this way anymore.

I'd suggest in the future if you get burned, just avoid the details still, but put out a clear warning to everyone. People who choose to ignore that warning will learn the hard way. That way, both joints that are worth protecting and those that are not, will have an equal chance. But those that burn people will quickly die out when more people confirm that what you said (even without details) is true.

Otherwise, there's really no point in trying to 'out' sabo kings cos you'll eventually accidentally 'out' a genuine poster who will suffer from deductions.

yup.. if i'm reading and looking for joints and a number of independent reports which says avoid the place without providing too much details, I wouldn't want to waste my money there. There's plenty of other places that I can go to.

So even if you don't like the place cos of crap service or money faced masseuses etc, don't have to give too much details, just tell everyone what happened and people will naturally avoid. Who knows, they might turn around and become much better. But by saboing them completely, there's no way a 2nd chance can happen.

I've seen joints turn around when they have received negative feedback from too many bros..

Recently, there have been unhappy bros who post about their unhappy trips. Well, I myself did so too earlier on but however as one bro reminded. There's a thin line between pointing out bad joints and sabotage.

Lately, there have been cases of bros who list out lousy gals/joints directly. Be reminded, what you may impact other gals in the same joint or neighboring joints.

Do not flame the TS or guys who post in those threads where the details are revealed. What you do is only helping to keep the thread alive and add on to any damage already done.

You are only feeding the twisted hunger that these sabo kings have for attention.
